Had a couple of surf lessons in a week. Firstly with Ben and then with jenny. Think I preferred Ben but maybe just because he told me I was a natural and was better on my first lesson than on my second! In the second lesson they remembered me and that I was good and so let me move up... More

Having been rather dubious about booking a private surf lesson for my partner and I in the middle of October all I can say is we are now both hooked! We arrived one cold cloudy morning and stood and thought we must be mad, we watched other surf schools spend ages sat on the beach and wondered if they would... More

I was lucky enough to have a one on one lesson with Jenny. I'd flapped about on a surf board a couple of times before my lesson. After a 2 hour tutorial, with the lovely Jenny I was standing up on waves and self correcting my position. Honestly the nicest surf shack, I hired a wetsuit and booties with a... More

Myself and my partner went in for our very first attempt at surfing. We has a 2.5 hour beginner lesson with Richard AKA Pidgeon...and had so much fun. Tuition was great, hot showers for afterwards and lovely warm winter wetsuits....despite it being October we weren't cold once!!!! Stunning location, would definitely return here for more lessons.

My first ever lesson from Seb, originally from Morrocco, and a proper surfer dude! He gave a great breakdown of how a surfboard and surfing works, without over complicating things, and was just a genuinely nice guy. Price was good. £30 for 2 and a half hour lesson, which included the hire of the wetsuit and board. There are other... More

The price was 30L which included a wet suit and the board, and the group was approximately 10-15 pupils. I would have liked to be able to have a few more minutes of one-on-one than one can have in this set-up. The instructor was very professional and cordial to all the students. This was my first-ever lesson surfing, and I... More

I went to Fistral Surf School with my two sons and had a brilliant time. The reception is friendly and efficient and the kit is great. Jenny was our instructor and she was superb: infectious enthusiasm; patient teacher; and great coach. Thanks to Jenny we all made good progress and were standing up on our boards before we knew it.... More

Both of us thought that the lesson was great value (and could not have managed any longer in the sea than the 2.5 hours, much more tiring than it looks!). Our instructor was great and very enthusiastic. Thanks for a good time.

I LOVE Fistral Surf School! The instructors were great fun and really helpful. Great showers and facilities, perfect after a dip in the cornish sea. I was in the water for two hours which was perfect for me especially as a beginner as I managed to grasp the basics. Would recommend to anyone in the area, a must do!

Had a great afternoon with you guys, our instructor Jenny was really good and fun! Our lesson was 2 and a half hours which was the perfect duration and we were all standing really quickly. Just a nice beach, decent showers ect. and had food there afterwards which was yummy! All in all I would fully recommend the surf school,... More
