Very moving Museum at the place that she lived and worked in for many years. We visit each time we go to St Ives and we never tire of it!

Well worth a visit even if you think you're not that interested in Hepworth or sculpture. The placing of pieces around the garden is excellent. Great introductory talk (free) from an enthusiastic and knowledgeable lady. Worth an hour or two of anyone's time... enjoyed it more than the Tate itself

We really enjoyed the visit to the Barbara Hepworth Museum. You can spend about an hour there as it's quite small and £6 is about right as an admission fee. The front area display of Hepworth's photos and life could be improved and enhanced and some more info about each sculpture on display rather than a paper list of names... More

A small collection but well worth visiting. You wouldn't know the garden was there from the outer wall. Go early so that you avoid the crowds/noise.

Clearly focused on just Hepworth's work, but the impossible garden (there is no clue from the outside) is the setting for two or three dozen of her best works. One of the better exhibitions of its kind, and well worth a detour to see. My three and eleven year olds enjoyed it, for different reasons, so don't be shy in... More

Excellent sculpture garden right in the centre of St Ives. A good place to get away from the crowds for a while. Peaceful and relaxing and well laid out.

The museum is tucked into a back street in the heart of St. Ives; what a site! it's interesting to see where an artist lived and worked. The gardens are lovely and her sculptures are placed here and there. It's an oasis -- well worth the time when you visit The Tate St. Ives too.

Lovely place and sculptures which are very touchable and in a beautiful and peaceful little garden hidden away behind one of the winding lanes in St Ives.

this museum has what the Tate is missing ... it breathes art and beauty and the visitor emerges in the lives of the artist community of St. Ives

We visited the Barbara Hepworth as we do each visit to St Ives and enjoyed it very much, especially, as we were in time for a free talk by a member of staff who was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We could have listened to her for hours (!) but sadly did not catch her name. A beautiful setting in the... More
