We loved all the lovely ferries that link up the various villages. Staff are friendly and seem to be pleased to see you. A bit expensive but worth the trip

Looking for a trip for my father of 86 who has always been a keen holiday angler I arranged a trip with James. Right from the outset he was understanding about my father's needs and dealt sympathetically with the challenges. We had a lovely trip out in the boat seeing all teh landmarks we're familiar with and then over two... More

Over the years I have been on several stunning fishing trips with the wonderful James of Fish and Trips in St Mawes. This years trip was the jewel in the crown of fishing trips. Not only did we catch 11 wonderful mackerel for several barbeques and evening dinners but we also saw a whale and several sharks on the trip.... More

James is a local man & genuinely knows the waters , which makes for great fishing. His personality & character ensure you an entertaining & friendly trip.During the two hour trip we caught in excess of 20 mackerel , a 4lb Pollock & three Crabs. We would throughly recommend a trip with James.

I went on this trip with three of my friends due to a recommendation at the Higher Rosevine Farm. I called James up the day before and it was no problem to get a trip sorted for us the next day. Arriving at the harbour we saw a small white fishing vessel entering the bay. We came aboard and were... More

This was an excellent afternoon out for my 16 year old son and me. James clearly knows the waters in this area and as soon as we dropped lines over the side at his selected area we began pulling in mackerel. Within minutes we had landed more than a dozen fish and then switched lures and soon started landing large... More

My girlfriend and I just came back from a fantastic trip with James the Skipper. Between us, we caught about fifteen fish including Mackerel, Whiting and three fighting 5lb Pollock which we eagerly cooked up with a few friends when we returned home, delicious!! As if that wasn't enough we pulled in three lobster pots and nearly took one home... More

We took and old lady friend for an hours trip around the bay and it was wonderful. The skipper could not have been more informative or pleasant and helpful with the old girl. Highly recommended

Booked only a 2 hour trip, but was out more like 3 to 3 1/2, really great fun, caught mackerel, cod, ling, pollack and some wormy-type-eel things. Skipper was really helpful and he worked very hard to put us 'on-the-fish'. We BBQ'd the makerel with locally gathered wild garlic and lime that night, de-lic-ious!!!!! I cannot recomend this operation highly... More
