The house is just as it was handed over to the National Trust, including all the Christie family possessions. Great walks and views.

This was our second visit to Greenway as last September it was too wet to even attempt the gardens. The staff here are all very helpful and friendly and for an Agatha Christie fan it is a super experience. The gardens were full of spring flowers and the views down to the Dart are stunning. Really recommend a visit here,... More

So pleased that you managed to make it to the Boathouse on your second visit, and that the weather held off for you. Hopefully we will see you again soon for a third visit! More

We travelled to Greenway on the boat from Dartmouth and walked up to the house through the woods. We had thought just to spend a few hours there, but in the end, we were there all day! The house gives a real insight into the lives of the family; in every room, as well as information about the furnishings, pictures... More

Beautiful setting but quite an ordinary house made interesting only by reason of the story (literally and otherwise) of its owner. Collections and artefacts not particularly precious but together they gave a unique insight. Worth an afternoon.

We went on impulse and phoned just prior to arrival. Derek on the gate was extremely helpful both for parking and what to see. The walk from the car park to the visitor centre was a treat in itself. It was clear sunny day and the views were terrific. We are trust members and were met by a very friendly... More

We travelled by ferry from Dartmouth but you can travel by car (limited parking which needs pre-booking) or by ferry and steam train. You climb up a pretty path to the house and grounds. The house is very interesting and lots of information inside to help you. Lovely coffee shop. Gardens are beautiful and the views of the Dart fantastic.

If you have an interest in Agatha Christie the house and gardens are a worthwhile visit, beautiful views from the house over the Dart estuary. A National Trust property free for members, but if you go by car pre-booking of the car park is essential

This has been on our National Trust "to do list" for a while. We arrived by ferry, and were taken up to the house by car as one of us couldn`t manage the walk - and what a house! Not just a house but a home - a real credit to the National Trust and their Volunteers. You don`t have... More

Today we took the Christie Belle, the National Trust ferry from Dartmouth to Greenway and would recommend leaving the car at home or park and ride by train. We had visited the open gardens before the NT took on the house and then again during the restoration period. This was our first look inside the house and we were not... More
