Worth a visit it's got much bigger since our last visit some eight years back has much improved in the eating area although I suspect they would struggle if very busy. A very good shop for gifts on site

My son and I visited last weekend and had a great day! Full of history, adventure and bonding. The tanks dating back to 1918 on forward with a good combination of hands on, multimedia and instruction. They recommend 4-5 hours... But you won't last that long. Buy the way there is food on the premises but (ok-highly subjective) not that...

... but not a lot else. All the tanks were marked clearly, but there was not very much in the way of inter-active exhibits. The layout consisted for the most part of just walking from one tank to another. The Trench Experience was potentially evocative, but spoiled for us by a rather overbearing guide, who spent far too much time...

We enjoyed our visit here but there is little for children to do and adults will spend most of their time running after kids amongst the labyrinth of old tanks. I also think it is unacceptable to charge for further attractions, such as a ride on an armoured vehicle, after paying a relatively steep entry price.

was in weymouth and picked up a flyer, really amazing place. the size of these things is amazing and a little scary. Worth the time.
This is quite simply a world leading museum, It is huge with a vast array of armored vehicles, really well laid out, very clear descriptions, clever children's exploration routes around the exhibits, there really is something for all ages and all interests, don't think its just for tank nuts, its really for everyone. Try to catch some of the arena...

Been a few times to the tank museum with family, tanks from all the eras, My father liked the tanks from world war one and two a good variety of things to see and do. Lots of write ups about the tanks aswell. Good for all weathers. Have not been for a few years but would like to go again.
This was two old friends spending time together without the wives! The museum is definitely value for money, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The museum is well laid out and there is plenty of interactions with displays if you want to take the opportunity to do so.
The facilities are excellent, there is plenty of parking and the...

I remembered visiting Bovington Camp as a small boy about 40 years ago and I've been itching to visit again ever since. A wet day while camping in West Sussex afforded us just the opportunity I'd been looking for and despite misgivings from the female half of the party the family drove through the rain to the museum. Clearly lots...

A great day out! Visited with family ranging from 2 years old to 50+. everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the day. The ride in the 16 seater patrol vehicle was a definite highlight- very noisy, bumpy and dusty- great fun! The tank display was also good- really brought everything to life. Got to go inside a Chieftain...
