Seen negative reviews of this establishment, but we had good food, good value & very good service here. Also a good area to go walking, you don't have to eat here to visit, but would recommend it. Choose a clear day for excellent views.

Devil's Dyke is indeed a wonderful site, many reviews seem to comment on this and not the restaurant. A fabulous place to explore on a bright sunny day! Can be very windy and not quite so nice in cold weather obviously. Such a shame the railway closed years ago, this place takes one back in time. Outstanding views, perfect for a day out and a picnic. Don't forget to call into the National Trust Cabin and buy the...

Come up here on a clear day, and the views across the South Downs and across to the Isle of Wight are amazing. Only 10 min drive from Brighton, but here you are out in the countryside, and it is difficult to imagine being so close to a busy city.
Unpretentious food at fair prices bu the view was the main thing. Service was pretty good considering the large number of people enjoying a sunny day and wathcnig the hang-gliders
Stress relief, fresh air, wonderful on a nice summers day ? Kite flying with the kids or just a romantic stroll ..you decide..
A gorgeous if exhausting place to wander and explore. Some fo the upward climbs are not for the faint hearted. A good afternoon out and a fab cream tea.

Devil's Dyke is wonderful for walks, picnics and flying kites! A lot of hills, but absolutely beautiful views.
