there is a good skate park here for the kids but its very busy so is a bit dangerous. More

I thought it might be an ideal place to learn wind surfing. I was wrong. The wind surfing instructors are great, no complaints at all with them but the lagoon itself is horrible...Lagoon?....duck pond more like. Not much happening down here, on a breezy sunny day you can watch trainee wind surfers falling off their boards. Nice cafes though, the newer one was (maybe still is) Heather McCartney's veggie cafe.
