Nice to find a place that hasn't been taken over by the usual shops. All of the shops and stalls are interesting and the time disappears very quickly as there is so much to see. Lovely but even more so when the good old Brighton sun makes an appearance. Lots of stalls with interesting bric a brac as well.

We spent a couple of hours before dinner and after dinner gently walking through the Lanes. The atmosphere is very festive but not loutish. With Brighton Festival on, there were plenty music and dance event all around the town, including the Lanes. Good shopping at Loccitane, Monsoon, The White Company. Perfect dinner at Riddle and Finns.

When in Brighton The Lanes is a must see. Stroll down the small narrow lanes, Have tea in a funny or just very personal cafe. Shop in unique excentric stores and just feel the athmosphere in this heart of the city. Colourful, freindly and creative. When in Brighton dont miss it - I dont!

It gets very busy but loads of different areas for all and you will not be disappointed. It is just a short walk to the station or the pier so well worth a trip

Loved walking around and soaking up the atmosphere, stopping at coffee shops, old pubs and window shopping over 2 days. All part of the atmosphere which is Brighton. They have retained much of the old buildings

Plenty of places to eat, Plenty of Jewellery shops. A lot of empty shop units . Have been advised by Trip Adviser that this review should be 50 characters but struggling to say anything else about the place
