Very clean and tidy, very welcoming and the parts of the castle that we were allowed to view was magnificant. Children thoroughly enjoyed the easter egg hunt

Came to view the Castle very impressive and Chilli festival on as well great value for money . There was lots to do and see .
A lovely castle but strange at the same time. This place seems to me to be in the wrong place but I suppose if you have the cash you can built what you want! It is a lovely place with some very interesting things such as the armour and library. It is a shame that one of the rooms is...

Fantastic day out, lots to do and beautiful grounds. Go on an activity day and bring a picnic, well worth a visit

We came here for the Chili festival on the bank holiday and had a great time. Fantastic weather and atmosphere, some great food and a lovely walk around the lake. The castle itself was ok, and great that it was all included in the entrance, although I am not sure I would come here if the festival had not been...

As with a few of the previous reviewers we were there over the Bank Holiday and, unbeknown to us, the Chilli festival was on, an added bonus to an already fantastic destination. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful, the arboretum, the lake and the maze were all highlights and there were plenty of shady spots to hide away from the...

We enjoyed our visit as we hadn't been before and the weather was great - we also appreciated being able to take our dog. But the queues to get in and to buy food and drinks were daunting. It was not cheap to get in we found it very much geared up to making more money.
The band was very...

Dear ParisSheraton
Thank you for your review about Eastnor Castle and I am glad you appreciated you could bring your dog – they are even allowed in the house.
I am sorry you experienced queues when you visited, as you will see from previous posts about the Chilli Festival weekend we were inundated with visitors. We had expected a busy...

Great venue and entertainment. Staff were attentive and helpful, offering small treats to young ones in the entrance line was a nice touch, as were the "Mexican" entertainers. Only gripe was that the festival is a victim of its own success. Getting in took to long, even given the streaming of cash and card visitors.
Picking up a point made...

Dear Dace1953
I am glad you found our staff attentive and helpful – even on our most stressful day ever due to the huge amount of visitors.
I agree with your comments about the queues, and as previously mentioned we were caught out when twice as many visitors turned up this year compared to 2012. However, for next year this...

We were there for the Chilli Festival so the castle & grounds were heaving, but it was well organised. Huge queue to get in, wish we'd booked in advance, but it was a spur of the moment trip. We were amazed at how relaxed it all was - dogs allowed inside the castle - it was an easy place to...

I only found out about it by chance and passed on to a load of friends who had also not heard anything about it. Better advertising needed as it is a fab day out. Excellent food stalls - great food and exhibitors were all friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful castle, grounds and lakeside walk. Dogs are allowed everywhere which was really...

Dear MissRobs
Thanks for posting your review about your visit to our Chilli Festival and I am glad you had a good day out.
The points you make about some queuing are very relevant and something I am aware of. This is only our second Chilli Festival and we were expecting a busy weekend and therefore planned accordingly, including hiring...
