It's a nice place, clean and tidy and freindly etc etc however a little disappointed that we managed to get round it, even when walking slowly, in a couple of hours. Good morning out of afternoon out but not an all day visit. Get there early for parking though as there are limited spaces!

Visited on the weekend with not knowing anything about it previously. £10 an adult to get in which also allows you to return for free for 12 months afterwards which was a nice touch. Walk through was good and had a few interactive things to keep restless people occupied. and once you get to the tanks there are large enough... More

Excellent aquarium and probably the best I've been to. Far better than the sealife centres. Really good displays and huge windows for people to watch everything float by. Plenty for everyone t see. Only two bits which let it down is the lift at the end which wasn't really that special and the catering which a poor canteen food. I'd... More

Took my 8 year old here, and we had a great time, I would recommend booking on line as it really short cutted quite a queue when we got there. I liked the history of the ocean's section, and we both enjoyed the various tanks and displays, been to a couple of sea life centres and this certainly has the... More

Now visited twice in the last few years. Been to many similar establishments - the London Aquarium, Sea Life Centres in Oban, Scarborough and Birmingham, Deep Sea World, Macduff Marine Aquarium...... But in one sentence: what makes The Deep so good is that it was purpose built. There is a real sense of progression from one area to the next... More

I visit Sea Life centres or marine parks wherever I go and this one was certainly worth a visit. There were long queues as it was Saturday morning but we got in within 15 minutes. What they had in terms of exhibits were good like the White Tip sharks but there was a lot of padding with video screens rather... More

My friend and I visited The Deep and we absolutley loved it! It was so interesting! There were a variety of people there of all ages and it's a great day out for everyone. Also, the gift shop is quite reasonably priced! Well worth a visit.

The Deep is more than just an aquarium as it has some serious educational aspects as well, looking at biodiversity, the impact of pollution and global warming and so on. Having said that, most of those were well over the heads of our six and three year olds, who just enjoyed seeing the huge tanks from various perspectives, the play... More
