We chose to visit the mine as it was a wet day. It was very interesting and the tour was worth the money we paid. Knowledgeable guide who was passionate about the place. If you go, wear warm clothes and walking boots or trainers as it is quite rough in places. We were disappointed with the cafe. Not well laid... More

I would rate this as a must visit attraction if you are to visit Lake District (Keswick).
