Somewhat off the beaten track but worth the drive. Miles of open sand dunes with (in the right season) seals and their pups, which are too gorgeous for words. Even with the number of young children (in season) running around and screaming, the feeling of being Away From It All is overwhelming and a real lump-in-throat experience.

After an 80 mile trip from Sheffield, we pulled into the car park and luckily found a space. The overflow car park was out of action due to flooding (rain,not the sea!).
