Nice feature to this pretty area of the city. Good views across the city and the Mersey, and you get a fair amount of time up in the air for the price. the liver pool eye is just like the london eye, nice replica to view the city especially if you and your spouse are on vacation, i really enjoyed it with my spouse when we came for our honey moon, it will always be in our mind, it is just around the dock by echo center.

Over by the Echo Arena, good place to see the Mersey, Cathedrals, and the 3 Graces all in the space of 3 turns of the wheel. It lasts about 10 minutes so it needs to be quick to get the photos.
