We went up in some bad wether. Views were still amazing, although commentary didn't work. Staff very friendly and it wasn't busy and we got about 6 revolutions.
Really well worth it. Get three revolutions on the wheel and there is a little commentary as you go round talking about Liverpool. I would go on a clear night rather than during the day. Spot on.
I am not a lover of big wheels, large or small so it took some persuading to get me on this, but having got on after the first turn it didn't seem so bad. The views are spectacular so I would urge any one who like me is nrevouse to go for it, you will be well rewarded.
Once on board you get 4 turns of the wheel, excellent views across the river Mersey and the city, spectacular at night with all the lights and looking down on the Albert Dock. Worth googling to see if there's any special offers on though before you pay.

We got on half price with the 2 for 1 coupon and our train tickets. We were expecting something similar to the London Eye since we saw the pods however it was more like a Ferris wheel with pods. I went on the wheel with a Groupon deal. It was worth the money I payed on the groupon £6. Its one of them thing's you do once. The veiws where good it went around 4 times. I would not do it a 2nd time.
Great views of Liverpool, we went round 3 or 4 times so we managed to take everything in and listen to all the commentry. A little pricey especially if it's busy and you have to share a pod, (It wasn't when we went)
