A captivating, engrossing show with an extremely talented cast especially the lead actor. How a boy of such a young age could have so much talent and work so hard all through the evening is astounding. A real emotional, funny and heart warming performance that you should definitely see if you can.

This is a really great show. You will know all the songs to sing along. The children are all great actors. Also if you remember the miners strike it will bring back the memories. A definite must see

Enjoyed the film but the musical was just too polemic and did not offer any sort of balance. Good fun for the radicals. Long live Maggie....

I would recommend it. But, lot's of shouting, screaming, cigarettes...maybe one reason I didn't see much children during the show. But, honestly prefer the film version. I saw it so many times and I guess my expectation was very high. But Harris Beattie for billy was wonderfull. He was just the greatest teen performer I've ever seen. Also I saw... More

While some modifications to the story where great (like for example moving the end to the middle with both junior and senior Billy dancing simultaneously) can't say the same of young Billy, may be too young for following the footsteps of the master...missing passion and strength, character. Also, a bit too much protagonism (albeit well performed) for other characters resulting... More

We booked Billy Elliot as part of a long weekend stay in London and are so glad we did. The Victoria Palace Theatre is walking distance if Buckingham Palace in Victoria. Before the show the shopping precinct adjacent to the theatre is perfect for dinner or drinks prior to the doors opening. The show itself, is full of entertainment and... More
