Did the Sandeman's tour with Mark Curtis yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed his quirky yet knowledgable approach. Mark obviously knows his stuff and is keen to share his love of history with his group. The tour was well run and well paced and provided something interesting for everybody with lots of humour and an engaging manner - that would be the... More

I took the 11 am free tour with Mark Curtis and experienced a friendly, interesting 2.5 hours walking through central London's historic sites. Mark was animated and knowledgeable. The tour was managed well and moved through all the top Royal sites. In my view, it provided a wonderful snapshot of central London and it was great fun! The tour guide... More

I had Andrew as my tour guide through London and he kept things interesting especially when a lot of the the streets were closed due to the queen's "official" birthday!

Our guide was Greg, a true Londoner who not only told us about the city, its History and stories but also gave us some good advice on what to do, where and when to go in London. Of course, you are free to give your guide whatever you want at the end. Don't worry if the place is crowded, visitors... More

A few weeks ago we started our trip in London. As soon as we checked into our hotel, we headed off to join the Sandemans tour with Andrew (I hope that was his name, if not, he's the "dangerous one" as he put it. He was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. For first timers like us, he provided a... More

I went on the free Tour with Andy today which was awesome and we learned a lot about the city of Westminster. Andy knows a lot about the war history of Britain and it was great to hear stories about London during WW2, about the blitz and Winston Churchill. We saw the famous parts of London ( Big Ben, Buckingham... More

Great tour by Mark back in April, he was a friendly and entertaining tour guide and it was a really interesting way to explore London. Not pushy for payment at the end either, good way of doing a walking tour.

Ok so out of any of the other Sandemans tours I took throughout Europe I would defiantly have to say this was the best! The guide I had was Sonja and she was great! From the moment we arrive you could tell she loves her job and interacting with people. Not only was she a wealth of knowledge about London... More

I have done lots of these tours throughout Europe and loved them. Friends from Australia were visiting and I thought this would be a great way for us to show them around London. We went for the 1pm tour on Saturday but unfortunately weren't able to do the tour because there was only ONE English speaking guide. Call me crazy,... More

I went on a walking tour with Mark and it was fantastic. Despite the rain, Mark continued to conduct the tour professionally and with much enthusiasm. My family and I enjoyed the tour very much.
