I was expecting this place to be fabulous after having it recommended to me by various friends, and reading all the positive reviews. And parts of it were very good; meerkats, turtles, guinea pigs, and farm animals all had very good enclosures. But some animals looked miserable in their less-than impressive facilities (vultures, and most of the birds really, reptiles,... More

An excellent day out for kids. We spent a good 5 hours here. The butterfly house itself is amazing, the butterflies are huge! You can get really close to the animals. My son enjoyed feeding mealworms (alive and wriggling-not for the squeamish!) to the terrapins and the meerkats. The place isn't massive but just right if you're walking with little... More

I have driven past the signs so many times and decided today was the day to go, as others have said we definitely should have done it soon! Entrance fees are reasonable, and it is well worth buying some feed from the gift shop to go around with. Everything is clearly signed and tells you what u can and can't... More

We have been a few times and its aways fun. The themed events are great and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Its good to catch the shows and to handle some of the smaller creatures.

My gorgeous and thoughtful other half bought me two 'experiences' at this venue for my Xmas present and neither of us realised what a fantastic day it would turn out to be. We began with the 'hawk walk' in the morning when Amanda took us for a stroll in the grounds with a beautiful raptor and some dismembered chicks so... More

Introduces children into a family day out, seeing wild-life and plants. Great for a raining day, and easy to walk round with toddlers.

We went here for the first time last year with great granddaughter and have been 3 times since. It is a great place to take young children, lots of small animals and birds plus games to play on.
