Having read other reviews, I can't really see a problem. We recently saw the Rocky Horror Show here, which is an experience in itself! The theatre seating is fine. Not a huge amount of legroom, but it is adequate. I understand that the balcony is quite steep, but there are railings for safety. This is quite unusual, and not always... More

The Lyceum has a well planned seating area and hosts some of the top musicals with great staging effects. The best seats are the dress circle or stalls. It is easy to find right in the Centre of Sheffield with parking not too far away.

There are many advantages to being tall and big, but going to the theatre is not one of them. Neither is flying in a plane or trying to sit in many cars. Nevertheless, we went to see Julian Clary and enjoyed it. Except for the cramp.

We went to see The Magic of Motown yesterday at the Sheffield Lyceum. We had booked tickets for the balcony and ,were really looking forward to a lively show. However we were thoroughly disappointed as the sound system in the balcony and also in the circle was not working properly and none of this singers could be heard. Many people... More

Went to see the 39 steps. The theatre is a perfect traditional old fashioned theatre, with good views and acoustics, and comfortable seats. The toilets are a problem however, having to negotiate a long flight of stairs, and the bar was crowded, and probably understaffed. Well worth the money, and will pay another visit soon

Caught '39 Steps' at The Lyceum. Absolutely hilarious and another enjoyable trip to the theatre. Early March saw 'Mousetrap'. Amazing theatre and always worth the trip. Even after a tiring day at work. Just the tonic to give you a boost.

Here to see the mousetrap, expensive seat, very very steep steps up to half way up the steepest balcony I have ever known in my whole life. Legroom was utterly dire, I am not 4ft tall and I need legroom. Place looks a fire hazard as is very congested.
