Lovely touches at this gem of a cinema make it special. Loved the settees and the waiter service where you could order by text

As usual in screen one a very pleasant way to watch a film, like being at home but with a big family in your big lounge and with waitress service in your armchair. Text your order any time during the film. Good alternative to the traditional cinema experience.

Visited electric cinema for years. Great atmosphere. Films are usually selected to be fun and the drinks and bites are perfect to munch and chillax with your girlfriend. Always a great night out and you leave with a smile on your face

I've been going to the Electric now for about 15 years.... I have a soft-spot for the old badly run place with its poor time-keeping and ridiculous number of obscure movies.... but the latest incarnation has been trading for several years now and makes a good fist of it. OK, the movies are more mainstream than they used to be,... More

It is such an experience to see a film away from the multiplexes and have the option of sofa seating. A bar a proper food rather than overpriced fast food is an added bonus. The setting is a little tired but has a certain charm. Well worth a trip.

Great experience - definitely make sure you go AND GET A SOFA. You can text your order whilst the movies on and they bring it to you. The Sofa's are very comfy, just make sure you don't fall asleep...! Drink plenty of coffee and coke (with a JD!). Don't think about it, book now....!

What a real time machine, Britains oldest surviving cinema, with crushed velvet at no extra cost. Went as treat for my birthday, so order drinks and food in the foyer to have in the cinema. Don't expect IMAX quality viewing this is for the cinematic experience ideally go to watch the Maltese Falcon or some such. The staff should really... More

A pleasure to see a film in this traditional style cinema- not many of them left . Very comfy on the sofa and nice to have the seat ordering service .
