A short walk up a steep hill from the centre of Brecon, finds the Local Council owned and run Leisure Centre. Here you will find a large indoor swimming pool, Gym, Bowling (Both 10 pin and indoor green) and any number of courses from the latest "thing" in keep Fit and an on site running track. It's just a shame... More

Visit this place most days for exercise classes which are run by very motivated instructors who pass on their enthusiasm. The little publised ten pin bowling alley also at the centre is a must on a rain day.

I really liked this centre. Amazing gym, if a little small. The pool was a little tired eg. tiles missing, but other wise all good.

Just a little bit tired, I just wish the Swimming pool was open after school on a Monday. Then would be perfect. A good resource for the area and a good little gym.

If I am being asked about the pool - its tired, missing a lot of floor tile, the changing rooms smell and are unhygienic to say the least. I loath going there but needs must. Prices are okay. Cafe s great for what you get.

Considering this is a sports centre, the cafe is terrible.Overpowering smell of frying, menu is basically chips and the staff are less than friendly.

Nothing very special to note but hit the spot on a rainy day with children. Very friendly and helpful staff.

If you are stuck in breacon and the weather has closed in then this is an option. I visited with a person who was in a wheel chair staff where very helpfull, the only problem is the lift key goes missing and they keep a tight rein on them so we had to ask for this to go down to... More

Used 10 pin bowls and table tennis here. Perfectly adequate but needs money spent. The whole place feels unloved and tired. There is a shortage of lighter bowls for the kids which is a pain.
