Free except for parking or bus fare, plenty of spots for a picnic, traditional bakery and shops to buy treats from, very interesting range of historic buildings to casually potter in and out of, play area (although only suitable for children aged 5+) Not all of it is accessible to pushchairs or wheel chairs due to steps, but you can... My favourite place to visit, a full day out, educational but very enjoyable. Beautifully kept grounds, a fantastic way to learn about the history of Wales each time I visit there is something new to see. A fantastic place to have a picnic and enjoy the scenery.

I spent a day in Cardiff, and this outdoor style history museum was my favorite part of the day! Many historical buildings on gorgeous land, made wandering an educational delight. I took a bus from the central station where I arrived. The bus employees were all very helpful making sure I got on the right bus and knew the last... More

What can I say, a day out that only cost us petrol money to get there. The whole place is an experience to be had. Bilingual employees were very knowledgable and friendly. The day was better as the sun actually shone in sunny Wales. A definate visit should be on the cards for all who want to have a fab... More

A fab day out if the weather is on your side its free to get in but they do like a contribution. Its a long walk around so flat comfy shoes are advised.

St Fagan's is a historical village outside of Cardiff, Wales. From the Central Bus Station, opposite the train station, you can get a bus that goes to St. Fagan's for a few pounds return trip. We thought we would do it as a quick trip, but spent almost five hours there. Each building has a docent, and if you ask,... More

I've visited here a few times over the years but I was most impressed when I was a child and this was brought back to me when we visited with family and the children loved it. Old buildings from all over wells have been dismantled and rebuilt on the grounds of this attraction, mind your head when entering the cottages... More

Family visist, with some family members travelling a distance to the Museum. Particularly wanted to see the House but this was closed for a wedding on Saturday afternoon. Also wanted to see the Working Men's Hall but library and upstairs were also closed. Small train did not run as frequently as advertised so waited 40 minutes. Told this was due... More
