If you get a fine day in Belfast, take a bus to this majestic place, only 15min for Belfast city- the hop on stops there. The pictures don't reflect it's grandeur. It's truly looks like a house of parliament. Playground for the kids while you can jog up and down the one mile avenue in front of the building

Unfortunately we arrived when lots of school trips were taking place and so could not have the tour that was usually available. Not much to see but may visit again in the future to get on the tour. The bus tour commentator said that the Stormont tours don't coincide with the times their buses arrive. The Building it self though... More

As you drive in to Stormont Castle, the view is breathtaking. The mile long drive has the most beautiful trees and the castle at the top is unbelievable.

Beautiful place to see, area to walk around.... But a bit out of the way and not as interesting as certain areas/places in town. If you want a relaxing day or a place to walk/hike/picnic this is for you. If you want more Belfast tourism I suggest staying in town.

The building is very imposing (in a good way!) & beautiful inside too. The grounds are wonderful & lovely views everywhere. I couldn't stop taking photos. Definitely a highlight of my trip to N Ireland. A real "must see" place that I will certainly visit again. Thoroughly recommended!

Love going for walks through here, great exercise to climb hill at a brisk pace. Only down side would be people who are walking their dogs off their leads. I am dog owner myself and always keep him on his lead as I am mindful that not everyone a dog lover. Apart from that would recommend a visit and there... More

Very helpful tour guide - great to get some of the history and to see where important meetings were held during the peace negotiations

With only 8 people debating in the Chamber it seemed rather empty and a lot of hot air- not unlike Westminster. A lovely building in a great setting but could possibly be better served as a library or grand hotel.

It look like it from the outside but on the inside is no where near as gaudy the food is good if your are priviledged enough to eat it. See it on BBC Parliament or Stormont TV if you dont get inside.
