Planned this trip months ago. Found out jusr today that it is only open Saturday and Sunday. Drove my husband around the bend looking for this place as he refused to believe it is in an industrial estate. When we got there, the gates were locked. Think I would rather try the one in Fort George for the Highlaners Regiment... More

A hotpotch of junk in a nondescript field adjacent to the airport which is an embarrassment. I am an aviation enthusiast and was bitterly disappointed with this. The museum is a joke and a 10 year old could collect a better selection of aviation history. There is no information or signage of any help, the exhibits are fag ends at... More

My wife and myself visited the museum on our way back from Inverness to Aberdeen. The first thing to note is that although the sign on the main A96 road is very large, as you get progressively nearer the museum the signs get smaller, ending up around A4 size. As long as you are aware of this and looking out... More

We visited the museum with two 5 year olds and a 2 year old, all three children had a great time. We were able to climb in and out of aeroplanes and pretend to be pilots. Luckily the weather was good as it is all outside. A family of 4 costs £15, I thought that was a little steep. A... More

A place not to be missed by aviation enthusiasts. Being allowed to touch all the controls in a real cockpit was an amazing experience. I will definitely come back again.

This museum has about 10 fantastic planes to look at. You can sit in the cockpit of many of the planes including a valiant, a bucaneer and a lightning. The members of staff are really kind and helpful and explained a lot about all of the aircraft. It is quite a small museum but as an 11 year old I... More

Badly signposted but if you have kids well worth finding. Took my 4yr and 6yr olds and had great time being a pilot. Sitting in a real cockpit and being allowed to touch and play is something you don't get in many places. Staff even brought out flying helmet from inside displays for them to wear. As in one review... More

First of all it's really badly signposted.it is situated on an industrial estate so there is very little parking.from the outside it resembles a scrap yard.it is fairly expensive to get in for what is on over.the grass was very overgrown and some of the plane parts are hazardous for young children.guy taking the money was very stroppy and we...
