The Irish House Party combines all the singing and dancing of a traditional Irish house party with a Dinner Theatre experience. House guests are entertained by All Ireland Champion musicians and dancers but also learn about Irish music, dance and culture in a fun way. Our venue creates an intimate and personal atmosphere where guests can meet and talk with the musicians and maybe even perform something themselves! A reservation is required for our show and private group bookings can be arranged for any day and time convenient to your group.

This show was pitched to us by our agent as a "parlor party" that featured an intimate night of entertainment with "no lights, no microphones, no stage" etc. All these were in fact present. However, the food service was so poor we left before the show actually started.

Went here in Apr 2012 and while the music was very good it was a little too short. The food however was dreadful. Cold soup, stale chips lukewarn, soggy batter on fish, crumble with the minutest pureed apple, badly served. It was a disgrace to produce such low quality food and absolutely no excure for charging €25 when you can...

Glad to hear you enjoyed the show. However I am disappointed to hear that you didnt like your food. Its a pity you didn't bring this to our attention on the night itself and Im sure we could have rectified the problem.

Had a great night at the Merchants Arch pub which hosts the Irish House Party. We booked through the Tourist Information Centre at no extra cost. We just did the show, not the dinner, and we really enjoyed it. It was one of our favorite activities of the trip. The pubs were so crowded and it was hard to find the ones playing traditional music, this made it so easy and it was really enjoyable. I love Irish music now!

Duriong our recent visit to Ireland we had the good fortune to spend an evening at the Irish House Party, a combination banquet and evening of excellent Irish music and dancing. It may seem touristy but well worth a visit.
