Very diverse, all in an hour and a half. Excellent musicians. Did not do the dinner part as there is so much to eat in the area. More

We were booked at an Irish House Party just off the Ha' Penny Bridge in the Temple Bar section of Dublin. It was nice but a little pricey I thought. My son had gone to a different one a year or so before and it sounded like a lot more fun. Ours was packed, there were 4-5 tables of 16... More

This show was pitched to us by our agent as a "parlor party" that featured an intimate night of entertainment with "no lights, no microphones, no stage" etc. All these were in fact present. However, the food service was so poor we left before the show actually started. We were put on a balcony in a fairly large hall at... More

Went here in Apr 2012 and while the music was very good it was a little too short. The food however was dreadful. Cold soup, stale chips lukewarn, soggy batter on fish, crumble with the minutest pureed apple, badly served. It was a disgrace to produce such low quality food and absolutely no excure for charging €25 when you can... More

Hi Dublin3-User. Glad to hear you enjoyed the show. However I am disappointed to hear that you didnt like your food. Its a pity you didn't bring this to our attention on the night itself and Im sure we could have rectified the problem. More

Had a great night at the Merchants Arch pub which hosts the Irish House Party. We booked through the Tourist Information Centre at no extra cost. Although we were seated upstairs, we had a good view and the sound was excellent. The 3 course dinner included traditional Irish fare- soup, corned beef and cabbage, followed by apple crumble. It was... More

We just did the show, not the dinner, and we really enjoyed it. It was one of our favorite activities of the trip. The pubs were so crowded and it was hard to find the ones playing traditional music, this made it so easy and it was really enjoyable. I love Irish music now! More

Duriong our recent visit to Ireland we had the good fortune to spend an evening at the Irish House Party, a combination banquet and evening of excellent Irish music and dancing. It may seem touristy but well worth a visit. More
