Went here today. I bought the heritage card which covered this and Knowth. The tour guides were very informing, and so was the visitor centre, which included a ten-minute video on the monuments. The only negative thing I can say about the tour, which has nothing to do with the place, but the people, is that visitors need to shower... More

Visits to the monument are in groups of 25. Bus tours make two groups each and are on a timetable. If you go "solo" you must wait for vacancies.

This is unlike any other place on earth. The very fact that it has been there for 5,000 years without a leak says it all! I commend it to anyone. We saw both knotty and Newgrange.

Wasn't sure what to expect as I couldn't really imagine what the inside of this monument would be like, but it was such an amazing surprise! A really interesting monument and definitely worth a visit if you're staying anywhere near this area.

Phenomenal. An absolute must to visit. Amazing to see that this was built even before the pyramids. Excellent value for 6 euros to see visitors centre and trip to NewGrange. Also has a very nice cafe with great pastries whilst you wait for your bus to bring you to New Grange with your guide.

Bru na boinne and the visitors centre is a fantastic place to go. We visit a couple of times a year thanks to the OPW Heritage card which is excellent value if you do these type of tours often. Get in early to book a seat on the bus to Newgrange or Knowth for a wonderful tour guided walk that... More

As a family of 8 spanning 8 - 70 we had a very pleasant couple of hours at this museum. There was not a great deal to see, but what was there was very well presented and the staff proved very helpful. A particular highlight was the laser reconstruction of the battle itself.

Myself and Partner have done this walk twice now and thouroughly enjoyed. It's lovely in the Autumn time when the leaves are all turning brown and you will get great pictures. But if raining make sure you take your wellies as we never and got a bit mucky.

Very informative displays and artifacts. Great view of the Emerald Island. A must visit in Ireland. There is a gift shop downstairs with Celtic designs and memorabillia.

The whole Boyne Valley is steeped with history from megalithic times to the Battle of the Boyne. Lots of see, do and stunning countryside for picnics and walks.
