It is a nice modern building and the staff happy to help but I thought there was not a lot of written information or brochures available, seemed to be more emphasis on selling items. Not much on areas outside of Manchester either.

The guide very knowledgable, kept the statistics to a minimum, an outsider couldn't help but be impressed that Manchester was virtually the birthplace of the Industrial revolution and provided the template which all other major cities then copied. we asked for directions and bus routes, the assistant wasn't very clear on explaining them, after asking her numerous times to explain clearer we decided to give up and just get a taxi

Friendly Staff and informative assistance. I found helpful information here, not only about the Greater of Manchester but also some advices for my trip to places nearby MCR. I'm not native English speaker so the way they speak slowly and explain everything carefully really works on me. Thanks!

Great bit of information for visiting guests from other countries. Helpful staff, parking is difficult to find but its the info that counts.

Kept following the signposts to try and find but actually walked past the building without realising what it was. It needs bigger bolder signs on the actual building. I wasnt the only one looking for and missing it. When I went in they didnt have any leaflets on what I wanted although the staff themselves did try on the internet... More

I think the emphasis on merchandise is wrong. I went in as a resident of Manchester and Salford and there was a pitiful amount of leaflets

If you need anything from maps, to gifts, to ideas what to do this is where you will get it. The staff are fantastic and a great help.
