Beautiful square this Albert Square, I really appreciated the Tawn Hall a Gothic style building artistically fascinating. The place is very crowded and I have to admit that I liked the Albert Memorial. Worth a visit!

Very beautiful and impressive as you view the Town Hall, with cobblestone decor on the ground. The statues to Manchester's historic past, fountain all present. The Lincoln Statue very close by. Starbucks across the street. Very peaceful-except when Market days set up! Loved this square.
if you like Victorian Gothic buildings then the Town Hall is a must-see.. watty Great from the outside but also go upstairs and see the old vaulted hall
On a bleak winter day, I visited a little rectangular pop up christmas village in Albert Square. This is a beautiful part of Manchester with a stunning town hall but at nighttime, its really badly lit.

Every time I have visited Manchester there is usually some event taking place in the square. From food and wine tasting events to street entertainers. Or just sit and take in the hustle and bustle of life in the city. Overlooked by the magnificent town hall building.
Great location, easy to get to. Lots of food and drink to sample and to buy. Would have liked better weather but hey, you can't have everything!
there are plenty of cafes, to sit outside in the square, but the traffic is never ending and noisy. the view of town hall is really good, and Manchester events are held in the square
