I loved the Seine and its many bridges. I enjoyed taking the Batobus down the Seine, which was handy for hopping on and off to see the major sights.

I always go on a evening cruise in Paris. The scenery was beautiful but the lights weren't turned on the monuments since it didn't get dark until 2230 hours! The price was worth the 13 or so Euros though and the boat wasn't crowded. We sent on the Vedettes Pont Neuf.
Noisy people on the boat who were not asked to be quiet by the staff ruined an already mediocre overview of Paris main monuments.
Follow the Seine on either side and there are always wonders to behold! I love all the painters and stalls of used booksellers who set up shop along the river. Its romantic and sweet, Paris for lovers!
enjoy a river cruise and get good photos of the Eiffel Tower - even better than getting up close to it! and... if you have a spare hour, save yourself a visit to another 'sight' and just amble along by the Seine :-)
Take a boat ride on this river. It would cost you about 5 Euros...It takes you through various stories of history as the boat sails. Paris visit would be quite incomplete without this ride..
the bateaux bus was awesome....offers hop on hop off service get on at eiffel tower and get on and off at numerous stops along the seine would recommend your return trip at night to see the city lights.
The river is serene as can be. The young artists who practice their craft are a joy to watch, as well. Richly detailed landscapes.
Great way to get around Paris is to buy a water taxi pass cruising on the River Seine. Hop on/off at tourist spots. Great sights to see from boats and very relaxing.
Wandering along the banks (quays) of the Seine is one of the most charming ways to experience Paris. We travel frequently to this lovely city and both agree that Paris is to be "soaked up" this way! You will discover the little hidden out of the way places along the route. Best done with a little picnic of a baguette,...
