The most beautiful church in Nuremberg, wonderfully restored after severe damage in 1945, and full of glorious art works.

Easily the most interesting and beautiful church in Nuremberg. Lots of wonderful artwork to admire, and a profound sense of the city's history.

This church is simply stunning. The interior will leave you breathless. Pay attention to some of the amazing details the artists used to convey their feeling and beliefs. You can take pics inside of the church, as loong as you remain respectful towards the people praying

This is one very nice building you should see. In any case, it is in the center of Nuremberg and you cannot miss it even if you want.

The churches in the old town in Nuremberg are all worth going into- all just wonderful to see. I would suggest wandering around town checking out the multiple places of worship.

The Lorenz Kirche towers over the other building in the area. It is like it pops up out of no where. Truely an exquist church, both inside and out. Located in the heart of Aldstadt and close to other sites makes it even more desirable to see. It is an easy destination to get to on the Walking Tour of... More

I'd have given this church 5 stars, but it's not heated, and on a cold day in February, it felt colder inside the church than out. (Must wreak havoc with the organs). Never mind--the art works inside are stunning. It's hard to believe that much of the church was destroyed and then rebuilt, you really can't tell from inside. When... More
