This market square is surrounded by the old historic buildings. At night the buildings are lit up and it makes for a lovely view. I have been here in the middle of winter so it was quite quiet and lonely yet still beautiful. You can try different type of foods (ethnic) and fruits (egzotic). Since it is in the middle of everywhere in Bremen, you can have access to big shopping malls, to trams and buses from here...

This place, with the Roland Statue and the beautifully maintained Rathaus is a must, when you visit Bremen and also offers the opportunity to visit the dome - always very impressive.

Bremen Marktplatz is a collection of fine buildings and sights including the Town Hall which takes pride of place, the Roland statue, Cathedral St. Petri and the town musicians. Beautiful and incredibly impressive City Centre. Loved the old buildings which have the olde world charm and beauty .

Loved Bremen. One of the nicest Xmas markets about in a great setting. Really good ambience,even with so many people around.

All the usual stalls, Glühwein, Bratwurst, crafts, entertainment. The indoor market in (I think) the Rathaus, with items made by disabled people, had some beautiful items. I bought a candle.

The Christmas Market was great - loads of stalls and plenty of traditional German foods to eat. The whole ambience was very Christmassy. The actual market is spread throughout the town, not just in the Marktplatz
