You won=t believe this is a final Assembly "shop" of a car factory !!! This place is an adventure. I also recommend the restaurant there!

It is almost like a monument in the City's centre. This unique structure prominently occupying 4-6 City blocks looks more like a hi-tech laboratory,where white-coated staff assemble with loving care top of the line Volkswagen Phaeton model and the similar Bentley- Flying-Spur ! It is really worth taking an excursion through the space age facilities !

Museum is in pedestrian reach from city center. It is big complex included factory exposition of Phaethon, some interactive computer board with information about factory process. Everything is explained in popular polite way with funny comparison. I really enjoyed small cinema in big ball, there is video archive of the best commercial spots divided acording to cars and history.

Even if you don't like cars much it is still worth visiting to see modern German efficiency at work in a modern assembly line production, truly amazing. Weekdays are best to see the assembly line in action, it's quiet at the weekend but if this is your only time then still go but take a tour. Only problem I had... More

May be this place is not in the top ten places to visit in Dresden, but if you have time you should visit it. Better take a guided visit thereby you can see more. Impressive!

Very interesting the tour of this manufacturing plant . Very informative and if you want to buy a car, just order one. Only 100,000 Euros.

This was an excellent tour which provided a lot of information and ability to see the entire assembly plant for the Phaeton. It was a good break from churches and museums.
