This cathedral is interesting, if only because it is unfinished (one tower is missing). Inside there are beautiful decorations, some unique.
If you are travelling in Malaga, you should visit this Cathedral. For most of people who have visited cathedrals in Europe, it may look similar, but the story behind this cathedral is interesting, from where it was a basilica, converted to mosque, and back to cathedral.
So many side altars, impressive choir but a picture of the beheading of St Paul that I still can not understand despite coming back and looking more closely on line.

Beautiful cathedral - unless you go to Granada - which is stunning! Well worth the money and the look around. Not "over the top", still a spiritual place.
5€ entrance. The sheer size is impressive and has magnificent wooden doors. The side altars are mixed and it is not easy to see detail. A definite minus for a cathedral is the absence of real candles - yet another place yielding to the electric candles - to light to remember loved ones.
This cathedral is classic and beautiful. It is nicknamed "The One-Armed Lady" by locals, as one of its towers is unfinished. That does not mar the beauty and sheer size of the church. In addition, the cathedral has a lovely garden with fountains where you can spend a peaceful moment.
We attended mass so there was no need to pay the 5 Euro entrance fee. That said, despite clear notices asking "tourists" not to enter unless they were going to mass - there was a steady entry of people obviously there just for the look around. Reckon it was worth them looking - the size and proportions are quite overwhelming.... More
