This is w wonderful place to visit and stay... with lots of different types of restaurants and bars with varying offers. You are able to walk via promenade to the marine for a boat trip. Beaches are lovely and clean, with helpful staff( especially at El Horno).

If you want to shop or have a meal,this is the place for you.A good place to stroll and people watch.

Great beach, beautiful flat promenade where people walk and run between Torremolinos and Benalmedena. Our third visit and going back in September!

Good flat walking along beach and shops. This is a wide paved walkway between the sea and shops,cafes and resturants with plenty stopping off places.

I guess 'La Carihuela' referred to a part of the coast-line where it's bustling with shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, etc.... Didn't find this hotspot until half-way through the holiday. Excellent beach with lots of places to rent deck chairs which include umbrellas and service. Cheap as chips especially if your going to stay the majority of the day. Recommended! Check... More

ALthough this is joined on to Torremolinos, it has retained its village identity. A few shops. Good restaurants/tapas bars and a wonderful paseo maritimo.

The boulevard at La Carihuela is the best along the Costa del Sol. A great selection of bars and restaurants. Good atmosphere, great bargains. Also visit the 2nd line: Calle Bulto!

Wonderful fish restaurant, Some of the fish you will not have sen nor heard of, but one thing is certain it is excellent
