Took a bus to get there and was awestruck by the fortress and castle that is Alhambra. You would need to spend a whole day I reckon and have load s of film, battery or camera space! It's... More

Make sure you get tickets in advance. They only allow a certain number of people through a day. It is... More

Must see! Wonderful tile and stone work, great history. What an amazing place! Also, I highly recommend taking a walk to the St. Nicholas viewpoint to see the Alhambra from a distance at sunset. More

we bought our tickets in the Alhambra bookshop in the main street the day before our visit. as we were in the first group to visit the Nazaries Palace at 9am we caught a taxi which was inexpensive and quick. Because we returned to the Partal area before out tickets expired at 2pm we were able to stay the whole... More

After much hype from reviews, we were a bit disappointed at what wasn't at the Alhambra. Napoleon destroyed most of it during his 3 years in Spain, so there is little left to see. WE came on a Saturday, too busy, with a long wait to visit most of the sites. I am told to book a tour, as in... More

I have visited the Alhambra twice and enjoyed it both times. The architectural details are amazing. The details are amazing and you wonder how they did it all without technology. Well worth seeing. More

The Caliphs knew how to live in those hot climates - and we are so fortunate to be able to 'sit' beside him. More
