This is my kind of museum, first you get a brief history of the company, then they show you how it is made, including some interesting sampling of the different components. Amazing what you can smell when you rub Bacardi in your hands. Then they show you how to make a Mojito and a Cuba Libre and then you get... More

Did the English tour at 4:00pm in a group of 6, the tour lasts about 45 minutes. There is a brief history of Bacardi given and an explanation and demonstration of the production process. Includes 3 tastings from various stages of production including the final product. You are then seated around the bar area where the professionals demonstrate the making... More

This was a really great place to visit. You discover the Bacardi world, its drinks, learn the production methods and even how to do a Mojito by yourself. Great!

A very informative presentation, followed by making your own Mojito. Friendly, efficient staff and a photo included in the price. It is recommended you pre-book as several people were turned away when we visited. No hard sell of products. A really great way to pass an hour and you may learn someing too!

It's a nice place where you can learn things about the family and its expansion Bacardi rum..and why not....to taste it. What a shame, I thought that they were Cubans ... but not, they came from Sitges

The tour of the Bacardi house is interesting and informative. The entrance fee includes a master class in how to make a Mojito with all the individual ingredients and equipment provided. Best bit is you get to drink your creation. You also get a lovely sepia old school photo taken with Bacardi logos and provided at the end of the... More

Sitges (just outside Barcelona, 30 minute train ride at most). If you get there by 11am or noon the latest, you'll have plenty of time to walk this beautiful town. Sitges is a really cute little seaside resort town with a killer beach strip and an impressive cathedral at the end of the strip right on the water (this is... More

Well worth the 7 Euros entry. Bacardi brand marketing/museum , talks about the founder of Bacardi who left Sitges at 15 and went on to build one of the biggest spirit brands in the world. The guide gives a brief talk and tour of the small building which is pretty interesting and informative. Then you get to try 3 shots... More

Only an hour long, this guided tour is very centrally located. The tour is a simple introduction to the Bacardi empire, in a bright and breezy house. I have to agree with other writers about making your own mojito or cuba libre. Having viisted Cuba earlier in the year and tried mojitos there, the Sitges ones were far superior, probably... More

If you fancy getting out of the sun for an hour or so, I thoroughly recommend a visit to the Barcardi museum. For 7 Euros, you hear the story of how Mr Bacardi emigrated to Cuba and set up his empire. It's a pretty short presentation which includes tasting 3 strengths of rum. Then comes the 'interactive' part - after... More
