This tour was most enjoyable. We had a wonderful time at the dairy farm and sampling all of the delicious cheese. Our guide (who is also the owner) of the balsamic vinegar farm was simply lovely and gracious. The wine tour was a lot of fun and was a very generous pour. Lunch was a wonderful affair. Eleonora was a...

We had such an amazing time with Emilian Land Tour during our time in Bologna. From the start, Eleonora answered all of my questions through email... she was very prompt, professional, and very friendly. We decided to do the cheese, balsamic vinegar, and wine tasting tour. My friend and I took an Emilian Land Tour in November 2012 and had an amazing time! The tour we signed up for included visits to a parmigiano-reggiano dairy farm, balsamic vinegar producer, wine estate and closed with an amazing lunch featuring local cuisine.
While looking at different food tours in...

My friend and I took this tour in mid November. What an amazing tour!! We were picked up from our B&B in Bologna and driven to a cheese maker. Eleonora was our guide. She explained how the cheese was made and were able to watch the two wonderful men make three batches while we there. What a great experience. Everyone...

This day was a total surprise for my wife and the unexpected nature of the trip made it all the more fun.
Eleonora was the best and this trip was a blast. We really enjoyed the tastings that accompanied the visits. I would recommend this trip for any person who wants to see the beautiful countryside of the Emilian region...

At the end of September we stayed in a delightful town called Vignola, with a moated hilltop castle over looking narrow cobbled streets and pavement cafes, and which was about twenty miles from Bologna. We'd been unable to get reasonably-priced accommodation in Bologna itself, due to a ceramics fair that went on all week. However, this worked in our favour,...

We did a tour of a parmegiano-romano cheese farm, balsamic vinegar tasting, a wine tasting and lunch. Our guide was excellent. She was a great translator and gave us a real local perspective to what we were seeing. All of the stops on the tour were excellent. We saw production of the cheese, learned about the production of balsamic vinegar...

Only downer was the really early start time (I'm not a morning person). Otherwise terrific fun - Alessandra is a natural communicator, loves his subject, and kept us all laughing. He is a font of interesting facts. There were lots of tastings. And the lunch was something to remember! We also made a few new friends. Great day.
