Great place to watch people. Get into a cafe on the square or in the shopping area, get an "Aperol Spritz" and watch people. Although the drink will cost you EUR 15,- you will have a great experience, if you do it once.

What an impressive and lively space for Milanese and all of us travelers to hang out! The Duomo is at one end, the Galleria Vittoria Emmanuele (the first enclosed shopping mall) is on one side, a museum is on the other side (with an Andy Warhol show when we visited), and on the fourth side - a McDonald's. Busy and noisy, dominated by the Duomo, but at the hub of the stylish city of Milan. Lots to see and do and easy access from the underground. Beware sitting down at the cafes and bars unless you have a very full wallet. Take the Via Dante down to Castello Sforzesco, lots to see and do and cheaper cafes!
A must visit for any tourist. Great ice cream available. Right next to the cathedrall. Easy to get to on the tube. Shopping excellent.
The square is fascinating with the grand imposhing Duomo right smack in the middle... LOTS of shops around and LOTS of people. There are also A LOT of restaurants around the square. One could easily spend the whole afternoon there just browsing through the different shops...
Wonderful square with fabulous architecture- the Duomo in particular. Sadly it is quite messy with tourist litter but definitely worth a visit just to feel the buzz of Milan.
The Duomo would be the best attraction to see in Milano.
the architecture and complexity in detail of the Duomo is simply amazing. One would wonder why nobody builds anything like it anymore. One of the best I've seen travels.
The place is amazing but be careful of pick pockets. And there will be people showing kindness giving you somethibv...

Warning stay away from the people that offer Roses because they're EXPENSIVE. Stay away from the people that are carrying strings they say its free for Africa. They use it to reel you in and then say for africa they want money. Say no thank you or walk away. At night the plaza is lit and it looks amazing. Beggers...

Lovely little pizza restaurant 5 mins walk from the Duomo, and sad to say cant remember the name as it was excellent both food and service. In...
