Long, sandy! Shallow. Facilities, bars, surfing, sailing, violleyball etc. Can be wavy and the dirty coming with the waves. 19 C to chill in in May ;)

We planned a long weekend getaway to Cagliari to enjoy some nice warm weather, good food and the beach. The first two, we definitely had. And while we did visit Poetto beach, we were sorely disappointed in the quality of the beach. We took the bus PQ from the city center/marina to the beach. When we arrived, we were surprised...

Not much you can say the beach is vast however the area looked rundown with many of the buildings in ruins
Not a good experience and very disappointing visit to this area - felt we were misled about area and also oue accommodation !!

Seems that the beach get pretty...
