The Uffizi Gallery is overwhelming with its vast collection of magnificent art. If stairs are an issue take the elevator. Not worth queuing for nearly 2hrs If you are more into art you may enjoy more but It was too long to wait for what you see

Most of the complaints from other reviewers are related to the queues and ticket selling system. We went there around 8:30 (gallery opens at 8:15 if I'm not mistaken) but the ticket sales only start at 9. We visited in May, compared to the Vatican the gallery was quiet but we were on a tour which was exceptional value. The pictures magnificently displayed in all their glory. Just a wonderful experience for an art buff.
