I like the location (next to the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio)...I picked our hotel based on its proximity to this piazza.Many interesting events take place here. The cafes are overpriced but typical.

Nice piazza, great place to take a coffee or a gelatto with the view of the statues, palazzo vecchio and piazza.

We had lunch in one of the cafe's around the piazza, looking out at amazing statues and people watching - a wonderful place to get a sense of Florence.

This was one of my favourite areas in the city - we saw it during the day but we really enjoyed it most on our walk back from dinner in the evening. The buildings and statues look especially beautiful lit up at night and there was a wonderful classical guitarist playing nearby. Definitely worth seeing!

This was busy with folks enjoying the statues. You can choose to be in sun or shade, and can sit along the edge of the wall to rest your feet while you gaze at an impressive collection of statues and the fountain. Nice vibe for a place to hang out and soak in the atmosphere.

Enjoyed the piazza with it's sculptures, restaurants. Nice atmosphere at night. Palazzo Vecchio is beautifully lit up.

A typical busy piazza but with more than a slight edge.This one has the Palazza Vecchio, statues of David and Hercules, Neptune's Fountain and the Loggia de Lanzi and it's numerous sculptures together with Cellini's Perseus holding the head of Medusa.
