I truly enjoyed the uphill drive to the Piazzale. I saw the "Tuscan" side of Florence -- big villas, olive trees, wide roads. The view of Florence from the Piazzale is unbelievable. We were lucky enough to get there with few tourists so we get to experience and enjoy the place more. The weather was good with clear blue skies... More
Stunning views from the top and a great walk. Stop off in the secluded garden for a rest on the way up. We stopped at the play bar for an ice cream and were met by the rudest member of staff I have ever met. Please avoid

Peaceful, calm place with amazing view--it is not far at all from the city. After few days in crowdy and noisy city I felt very relaxed and peaceful there. And the park around the church is just wonderful! Definitely has to be seen.

The centerpiece of this Piazza is a replica of the statue of David, Kodak moments galore. Try to take a picture of the feral cat called Daisy who will surely please you with her demeanor
Market Michelangelo statue is out of breath, the place where you can see the most beautiful Florence. Breathtaking scenery literally. If you look at a postcard from the city that shudders at your feet

The best place for panoramic views of the city, but also of the surrounding Tuscan hills. Easily accessible and, if you have a car, parking is free. How often do you get this in Italian cities? The replica of Michelangelo's David is a bonus, but the real attraction here are the views. Do not miss it!
