This is possibly one of the best ways to spend a day in Switzerland. For Sfr79 you travel from Grindelwald up to First by gondola. The views are stunning, especially from First. If you happen to be in the area the First Flyer is an exciting alternative to way to get down the mountain faster than you can ski it - 50 mph or 84 kmh fast. There is a fee for this attraction but if you have a 7 day all area ski pass its free. There are some other discounts... More

For around 1 minute of going down a wire at speed it is expensive. It isn't exactly the high adrenaline ride that you expect.
