We only had one day at Corvatsch, but it was wonderful. Fresh powder late in March. Good lift service and lift layout, so not too much traversing, and the runs are mostly intermediate. We could see that the offpiste would be very good given the right conditions. Long runs, as this has the most lift-serviced vertical in Engadine, The views... More

This is the are to focus on in your ski trip to St Moritz. The slopes are more challenging than the ones in Corviglia. Less sunny in the morning, but worth it.

I've been to Corvatsch two times last week. Fantastic weather, fantastic slopes (well maintained) and not many people. Connections are efficient and you can easily move from a slope to another with no cue or stress. Services are good - of course you've to be prepared to pay extra being at 3,000 - 3,300 metres upon sea level. You don't... More

You need your ski pass to get up there at 3058m. The views are spectacular. Eat at the restaurant Piz Nair (expensive) but the view more than makes up for it. The whole of the Engadin Valley lies before you. Only go on a sunny day.

The panorama over the Swiss mountains is wonderful, definitely go up there to take pictures and enjoy the sun for a bit! But i highly do DO NOT recommend to spend a penny on the restaurant! The Rösti with bratwurst and onion gravy was obviously heated package food for the price of 21 Swiss francs... Bad. The coffees we had... More

During our visit to St. Moritz, we went to the Corvatsch. Thanks to the concierge at Badrutt's Palace, we were driven to Silvaplana (another beautiful area with gorgeous lakes) at the base of the Corvatsch and then took the cable up. We were told 'make sure you take the steps to the top'. And glad we did that! From the... More

View from the top of the corvatsch is fantastic, on a good clear day you can see all the way over the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa. The two cable cars are a pretty quick ride to the top leaving every 20 mins. We ate lunch up the top, not at the restaurant but it looked good. If you are coming... More

We went up to the top of Mount Corvatsch via the cable car. The cable car goes mid way where you could also stop to do some viewing, hiking or you could immediately transfer to another cable car that will bring you to the top. The view at the top is awesome- surrounded by snow capped mountains. Even in late... More

One of the most memorable moments of our trip was attempting to get into the top station at Corvatsch in a snow/rain/wind squall. The cable car was blowing from side to side and could not dock for a few minutes. So we just hung there, swinging. Petrifying, but amazing. I would not go back to St. Moritz wihtout going back to...
