Need to purchase tokens at the tourist shop across the street. Bit of a steep climb, but well worth it in the end. Go on a clear day, and you can see for miles. Great view.

Although we never actually went into the tower due to having to be somewhere, we did hang around at the base of the tower for a while. While the music is playing their is a TV screen above the entrance showing the guy or sometimes guys playing the piano/organ instrument Will be paying the 1 euro fee to go inside... More

What can you tell about climbing a famous churchtower and overlook the city and surroundings from above? Euh.. the view was nice! No elevator in this old tower, you 'll have to climbe, so come well trained. See the bells, and hear them if you are lucky (?). All the history information is displayed outside on the tower. Very handy!

It has a very nice view of beautiful Groningen. The stairs will make your tired cause they are perpendicular, be sure to go up at a sunny day. The top of the tower would be windy but it worth to see the view.

Narrow endless stairs, but worth it for a great 360 panorama at the top. Shame about the mesh wires, but nice to see the whole city

Those were my exact words every time I take a step and pray that I am at the top. Nope, turns out I have a hundred more steps to go. The tower is extremely narrow so you must be extremely careful, because If you fall, everyone below you is screwed. Aside from the painful journey up and then down the... More

When you have the advantage of being here with good weather the view is absolutely great! It is a steep and long stairs so you 'd better be in good shape!
