Honestly, if you think you know what a good cinematic experience is , you haven't been here. It is amazing and you will never want to go back to an odeon or cineworld again after sitting up in the balcony of this stunning place with beer and snack in hand and the comfiest seats known to man.

We booked VIP tickets to see The Great Gatsby on a whim and what a great decision it was. The most beautiful theatre I've ever been to, it definitely added to the 1920s vibe of the movie! I wish they made something more of the poignant history of the cinema and the man who created it - we only found... More

wonderful place with a really interesting history. if you get the chance to get a guided tour, don't hesitate - it's worth every penny. if you go over for a movie, make sure you google the history of the theatre first and, once inside, be nosy and explore the interior :)

This is an amazing looking cinema. We saw a 3d movie there (iron man 3) and were completely amazed by the atmosphere of this great place. For all of you movie lovers- this is a MUST. Small advice, if you have the time then better buy the tickets in advance, to skip the queue just before the movie starts.

Well worth a stop just to see the interior. Or a movie for that matter... if I had time to break away from a packed itinerary for a movie, this is the place I'd see it in, particularly since movies here are always shown in the original language. As it is, we just wanted to see the interior, which is... More

The only reason I went to the cinema was because I had a late flight and the weather was pretty drizzly so I found out about Tuschinski from the lovely lady at the other modern Pathe multiplex around the corner. When I curled my lip at the selection available at the new cinema... I didn't want to bomb anyone/bite anyone/steal... More

If you walk through the Kalverstraat to the Mint Square, then go to the Reguliersbreestraat and halfway you will stumble upon this wonderful cinema.Ouside it looks historical, a bit in the vein of Gaudi his style. But inside it's ultra modern with many facilities like wheelchair access and an elevator. There are six cinema's with totally 1459 seats and climate... More

We bumped into the theater and it was amazing. The building is very special and has unique style. The figures on both sides are actually animals! Make sure to take some photos.
