A very nice place for a coffee, drink, lunch or diner. A very good atmosphere, a perfect location combined with good food.
My favorite stop in the Leidseplein. I wish I was there now. Great sandwiches and salads. The staff is so friendly. Just love the place. Very well located, next to Paradiso and also the shopping area. The menu was quiet good, a lot of vegetarian dishes. Portions were big, so definitely worth the money. I also recommend to try "Warme Anijsmelk" (warm anise milk).
The cafe de balie is always a nice location when you look for a relaxed place for a drink or something small for a light lunch. Nice soups and the usual selection of sandwhiches and apple pie. The waiters are surprisingly friendly taking the location into account.
