This is a very fine cathedral. The artwork, especially the paintings by Rubens, is very well worth seeing. There is a modest admission charge but well worth it.
Came here on a Monday, when all the other museums and main attractions are closed. The cathedral itself doesn't have as 'warm' a feeling as some of the others we have visited, but the paintings and stained glass are well worth the visit - also the depictions of the stations of the cross near the shop and exit.

I have traveled to several museums around Europe and seen several churches/cathedrals/abbeys and this cathedral is up there with the finest of both. It has a great selection of artwork that is worth the visit by itself. The architecture of the building is also on par with other great cathedrals. Glad we were able to sneak into Easter mass and...

The cathedral is a dominant feature of Antwerp and rightly so. It is a magnificent structure both inside and out and is very large. There are many works of art inside including 3 paintings by Rubens, Antwerp's son. Although the history of this cathedral is fascinating the main features are those of a gothic church with numerous works of art...

White ceilings and columns combine with paintings and sculptures by Rubens, Metsys, and others, to make this a visually stunning place. Dont miss the wooden carved choir stalls with hundreds of miniature figures!

I consider they are incredibly relevant to a city not only from a religious but from an historical viewpoint. The Cathedral of Our Lady in Antwerp is a stunning example of the best of the best. From its amazing gothic architecture...

While the place itself gives rise to a feeling of calm and well being, the addition of thirty great paintings from the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp and from the Mauritishuis in the Hague added a special and unexpected treat to...

One of the nicest cathedral in Belgium. The tower of the cathedral is really nice. You can go inside without any fees. It will take some time to see the whole cathedral.
The cathedral dominates Antwerp's skyline and its chimes are often ringing out over the city. They are restoring to brilliant white (due to be complete in 2015) which closes off some small areas but doesn't impact too much on the experience. There is a special exhibition that has brought back into the cathedral many of the different altar pieces that...
