The Magritte museum is a good place to meet the famous painter Magritte. Strongly advised to rent the audio guide as very poor information is provided inside the rooms of the paints. Magritte, as most of the modern painter, can be appreciated much more if information are provided about him and his works

If you are into contemporary art this is one museum you can't afford to miss. The setting is nice and the elevator ride is an amusing surprise. It has humor and insights and a glimps into the turn of the century.

Obtain a Museum for the sole Magritte, would require perhaps many more works, especially those that have made him famous and that he has produced in quantity. Even the sculptures are just a couple. Go up the elevator to the third floor and then descends, the works are in chronological order. There is also a movie, which we have not... More

It's all about Magritte and little else, so not sure those not previously entranced by these surrealist masterpieces would really enjoy it much, but the collection is comprehensive and the facility is really nice. I will visit again.

8 euros for a ticket. (discounts available if you combo it with other museum) Three floors of rooms with his artwork and other assorted documents on display. Audioguides available in a number of languages – though I did not use one. You will not need more than an hour. This does not include the documentary (maybe 20-30 minutes) that runs... More

Interesting museum, good to visit once in a while, but i expected more things from personal life. Not only first sketches or photographs, but also some personal objects. More focus on him as personality, what formed him as an artist, some crucial aspects in his life.

This museum offers a wide array of Magritte's paintings, spread over 3 floors, spanning his early, période vache, and later period. The collection holds major works such as 2 of the best versions of his seminal "The empire of lights"; "Black magic"; "La corde sensible"; "The unexpected answer"; and many many others. The museum also offers a lot of side... More

We struggled a bit to find out way into the exhibition as things are not that clearly marked (take the lift the 3rd floor, no other way in). Overall exhibition is well set up chronologically but all pieces only show title in 3 languages and they could really do with more info (as in the Tate Modern in the UK).... More

This museum was well worth it. Not far from the Central Station. A must see when in Brussels. Very enjoyable.

Very modern museum with the great display of Magritte's paintings! If you love modern art - you will definetely love this place! Not allowed to take pictures inside the museum.
