The word monument aptly applies to this cathedral. Centrally located, easy to locate and visit. As always, get there at off times to avoid the crowds. That's one reason we visited in May rather than June-August.

Very intricate work on the outside. I loved the fact that it was built on the top of an uneven square, which puts it in the "throne". The interior is beautiful, with stained glass windows and an impressive pulpit.
I've seen many different churches around Europe and I thought that would be next one. But it wasn't. Cathedral is very beautiful, very special, and you can spend an hour inside, just sitting and looking at windows. I really appreciate this Cathedral very much, it has a specific atmosphere inside which is difficult to describe. The entrance is free and...

This cathedral is also a parish worship centre enjoyed by locals and tourists. The stained glass is beautiful - absolutely huge windows. It would have been helpful to have an English guide book to explain them. The pulpits and confessionals exquisitely carved.

I liked very much this church and its gothic (but not too dark) style. It's certainly worth a visit.
This is a beautiful Cathedral.
I was lucky enough to visit on a Sunday and got to catch part of the service. It's beautiful inside and with the choir singing as you look around, wow.
Then you exit and get accosted by the hordes of beggars that line the stairs, it's disgraceful.
The green in front of the Cathedral isn't...
