The citadel is strechted, you can spend at least half a day here wandering around. A few walking routes are provided. At the top you have a panoramic view over the city.

A walk through history. Worthwhile visiting the underground passages and walking around the Citadel. Although it was a wet season, we enjoyed nice views over the city.

We took a guided tour of the citadel firstly by a small train and then on foot. Very interesting and the guides were excellent

If you like walking and you would like to see panorama of Namur, then its a place for you. Otherwise, nothing special.

Really facinating place to visit and the food at the top is delicious too. From time to time there are nice little shops that pop up there too, I bought a lovely little oil painting!

Great walk and good views. Second time in Namur, and we went up the citadel especially to find the bar at the top as we had good memories of drinking Kriek a few years before. For some reason we missed it and ended up on a 4 hour trek through the woods. Had a great time though !

We didn't pay for any of the exhibitions and simply wondered around the citadel taking in the history and the views. This took us a good half day and was interesting.
