I can't see how to report that the location is wrong, but it is. I was guided by my Tripadvisor App to completely the wrong location - about 15 minutes walk away from the real location of Patershol. Please can someone at Tripadvisor fix this? It's easy to look up the correct location....

This is a neat area (very close to the Hotel Harmony) with a number of popular restaurants and other quaint shops. You can wander around and take in the great architectural styles of the buildings.

When you walk into the narrow streets of Patershol it's like a warp back into time. All lovely bars and restaurants. It's a very nice and atmospheric neighborhood specially in the evening time. Go and enjoy it and explore it for yourself.

The oldest part of the city, and once the 'lowest'/cheapest part of the town. Today, it is one of the most expensive area's of Gent. It's small, but one of the must see area's, as it kept it's medieval charm: be sure to walk through each of the little cobblestone streets. The restaurants there are also highly recommended.

One beautiful house after the other. A gourmet restaurant on every corner - plus a lot more. The epitome of a visit to an old European town. Bring your camera.

This is one of the oldest parts of Gent and, for such a small area, was full of really good eateries. A nice place to stroll around at night and close to the centre of the city. Keep looking up because the gables and rooftops are wonderful.

Until 1980 this neighborhood had a bad reputation: crime, prostitution, robbery, drugdealing... Romain De Coninck wrote a play about it: "By tante Wanne"...(name of a café). The topic? Crime&murder... Now it is peaceful and quiet. The neighborhood is small, only 4.5 ha and it is nice to walk there. It is picturesque. And I must admit, mainly in Summer there... More

We were told by four different people on two different days how to get to Patershol and "We had to go". I think we were there walking around aimlessly in this neighborhood. I didn't see anything fabulous. there were a lot better areas to explore in Ghent!
